Promote alternative tourism in Tunisia
Revolutionize your travel and discovery experience in Tunisia
Tunisia is considered essentially as a seaside destination distinguishing itself from other countries by its sun and its Mediterranean beach. But since a few years, a new form of tourism has appeared… the alternative tourism ! Tunisia meets all the criteria of this type of tourism.
By alternative tourism, we mean green tourism, cultural tourism, social tourism and culinary tourism. Of course Tunisia is a symbol of culture and this because of its fascinating history and the resources it offers…
In short, Tunisia represents the ideal destination for an alternative stay, which is why there has been a lot of work by all the tourism players throughout Tunisia.
Our goals
Since 2019, the “Ensemble pour un Tourisme alternatif et durable” project has been working closely with Tunisian tourism federations to diversify and promote the country’s tourism offering. DRV’s aim to focus on capacity building in sustainable tourism and marketing training. It aims to help players in the sector develop their ideas while benefiting from comprehensive support, including training, networking and opportunities to promote new tourism products on a national and international scale. In addition, it is an important lever for creating synergies between the various players, thus facilitating access to new opportunities, both nationally and internationally. The project is being implemented by DRV and FTAV, with financial support from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and coordinated by SEQUA.
