Day 1
Discover Tozeur Oasis and Medina
Begin your journey with an exploration of Tozeur’s lush oasis, known for its vast palm groves and traditional irrigation systems. Continue with a visit to the Old Medina, where you can wander through the narrow streets, admire the unique brick architecture, and experience the vibrant local souks. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay in Tozeur.
Day 2
Towards Ksar Ghilane via Douz
Depart from Tozeur and head toward the Sahara, stopping in Douz for a delicious lunch. Afterward, continue to Ksar Ghilane, a desert oasis famous for its natural hot springs. Spend the evening in a desert camp, where you can experience the tranquility of the Sahara and enjoy a traditional dinner under the stars.
Day 3
Chott El Jerid, Sidi Bouhlel, and Ong Jemel
Start the day with a drive across the Chott El Jerid, a vast salt lake with shimmering landscapes and surreal mirages. Visit Sidi Bouhlel, a picturesque canyon and filming location for several movies. Conclude the day at Ong Jmal, or “The Camel’s Neck,” where you can admire the dramatic rock formations and desert dunes visit the sets of the films: English patient, Star wars. Continuation to Nefta, and visit the basket. Return to Tozeur for the night.
Day 4
Visit Chebika, Tamerza, and Midès
Embark on a journey to the mountain oases of Chebika, Tamerza, and Midès. Explore Chebika’s cascading waterfalls, Tamerza’s scenic cliffs, and Midès’dramatic canyons. These natural wonders offer breathtaking views and are perfect for light hikes. Return to Tozeur in the afternoon, marking the end of your adventure.
